AFM Event (Race, School & Practice) Entries:

All events are by Pre-entry only. No
post-entries will be accepted. See the AFM Rulebook Appendicies for very important
Pre-entry information and tips.

At the track, if you claim you sent in a pre-entry
and Registration says no entry is on record, you must have clear proof of
having sent it to AFM (on-line confirmation, fax receipt, mail or express receipt, etc.). Without
such proof, the entry cannot be accepted for that event. No
Exceptions!!

Pre-entries are not accepted until the "Entries first accepted" date following
the e-blast mailing of the pre-entry forms, schedule is given below. Any entries
received before the "first accepted" date and time will NOT be processed. No entries
will be accepted after 5:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to the event!!! NO EXCEPTIONS

On-Line Registration, through your personal myAFM account will open and close as
noted in the "Entries first accepted and Pre-entry deadline". All regular policies,
dates and detail apply. You may fax or mail your entry using the special pre-entry form.
This type of entry must be hand input and will result in a time delay. PLEASE enter
using the on-line system for accuracy and time sensitive processing. All types of
entry, on-line, fax and mail may be paid by check, money order, or credit card. Cash
that will replace your current method of payment is only accepted at the track.

Pre-entries are received at the following address and fax number. If you send
your entry to any other place it will delay your entry significantly and will
impact your chance of getting into an event. The address is a US Post Office Box,
be aware that no hand deliveries or courier (UPS, DHL, Fed Ex) are accepted.
Time an issue? Send by USPS Priority or Express next day delivery or enter
on-line.

Pre Entry Schedule
License Application must be submitted prior to entry. Allow a minimum of 48 hours
following receipt of application for processing. After processing is complete we will
e-mail you with instructions on how to proceed with your entry.

NOTE - AFM approved NR Schools will be accepted as a replacement for AFM
Race Schools, making more opportunities for anyone to take & pass a NRS
so they can go racing in AFM; a specific list of these schools is given on the
New Racer School page .

No pre-entries will be excepted after 5:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to the event.

NOTE: Lap Times: If you do not have lap times for that track recorded with the AFM
enter your typical best lap time, if known, for each class/bike on that track in
the Lap Time column. If you have lap times with the AFM we will us that data. When
entering using your on-line myAFM , follow the instructions.

Licensing:

License applications can be downloaded by clicking on the Membership Info,
Racing License page. You may request an application to be sent to you by US
mail by calling (510) 796-7005 and leave your mailing address and phone
number information.

All official AFM License Application forms must be included and
completely filled out for any license to be processed. All incomplete applications
will be returned.

Application forms must be for the current racing season; do not submit
applications from prior seasons.

Competition and Reciprocity Licenses (i.e. racing) must include all 3 forms
(application, release & medical), Associate Membership only need to fill out
and return the first "Application for Membership" form.

Reciprocity licensed riders are eligible for the raceday awards and contingencies;
they are not eligible for Season-End Class or Overall Championship standings.
Reciprocity riders may upgrade their license to full Competition status prior to
July 1st only.

All license applications must include a check, money order, or credit card
number and expire date.

When applying for a license at the same time as sending in a pre-entry,
please send two separate checks/MOs. One for the license and one
for the pre-entry; nothing different needs to be done if paying by credit
card.

All Reciprocity License applications must include proof that the rider is
licensed in another recognized roadracing organization (i.e. copy of racing
license, letter/fax/etc sent directly from the other racing organization,
etc..).

Half year AFM licenses are not accepted before the last race date in June
or July 1st, which ever comes first.
Billing Policies:

No checks are cashed or credit cards billed until AFTER the event. Billing
usually occurs on the Tuesday following the event.

Refunds happen a few ways, and can be either automatic or require a rider
request. See the AFM Rulebook for detailed information on refund policies
and when your action is needed.

Any returned (i.e. bounced) checks or denied credit cards will be subject to a
$20 service fee. Additional restrictions may apply; see the AFM Rulebook for
more information.
