| Race Dates You can find the race schedule here. Races are held at three different tracks; Infineon Raceway, Thunderhill, and Buttonwillow. Track Information Details on how to get to the different tracks and lodging available nearby can be found on the Track Info page. All tracks will allow camping on the facility grounds for our events; call the tracks directly for info and to confirm the details & fees, PLEASE DO NOT CALL the AFM. (INF 707-938-8848; TH 530-934-5588; BW 661-764-5333) Spectators have full access to the paddock and can freely browse around, but there are some safety rules to follow. We no longer print the racetrack's list of "do's and don'ts" in the raceday program so if you have any doubts ask a veteran or afm volunteer/worker what is allowed. Common rules are no one under 16 without a race license on anything with wheels, speed limit in entire facility 5mph, racer number on all vessels with wheels, be safe. This is especially important when it comes to children and pets; for their safety please keep a watchful eye on them at all times and keep them under control. Gate Fees are $10 - $15 for adults, kids under 12 are free. Event Format - what to expect on a race weekend Saturday All Saturday Practice days are open to licensed members. The first race usually starts approximately 10:00 with 4 races held before lunch, and the balance of the races recommencing about 12:30 and continuing to around 5:00pm. A preview of the raceday schedule is usually posted a week before the race weekend and can be found in the Breaking News Section. | | |
