What the heck is the AFM Mentor Program?
The AFM Mentor Program was designed to pair up new racers with seasoned AFM experts.
The Mentor will be there to (hopefully) answer most the new racers questions, offer
insight into the AFM, and keep an eye on the Mentee.

How can I become a Mentor?
For experienced Riders who wanna' be Mentors: Many people have expressed interest in this
idea, and have stated that AFM needs to continue to help out newbies. Now you can help by
becoming a mentor! The ongoing goal is to get a couple qualified & reasonable riders from
each class who can act as class mentors, so incoming newbies can be matched. The
qualifications are basically: at least 3 years experience racing with AFM, an interest in
helping and explaining things to others, a clean AFM record (no bad juju on AFM's books),
and hopefully some time to keep your mentees on track (pun intended). If you are interested,
contact Ginny at the e-mail address given above.
History of the AFM Mentor Program
Kevin Crowther first organized the mentor program for 2000, and carried it through to 2005...
Ginny Cutler will be managing this program for 2006, and we know she'll do an excellent job .
Sign up now if you plan on starting in 2006 and you know what class you will be racing in.
