Brad Stewart:
After speaking with Ules' mother today I found that Monday's surgery on the right leg went very well, textbook. On Tuesday he went in for the right arm and was under the knife for 12 hours. This includes the doctors going back in after they thought they were done because they didn't like the first results. Currently there is no feeling in the arm, but doctors feel that it may be due to the trauma and not necessarily a deeper injury. But this is not confirmed, only time will tell at this point.

Please send any e-mails for a fast recovery to Brad: bstewart@sirius.com He will print them out and take them to Ules. Cards and other stuff can be sent to his house at: Ules Jackson, III 1125 E. 18th St, Apt 21 Oakland, CA 94606 Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery for Ules. Ules started with The Crew in Buttonwillow last year and attended every race in 1997 to earn his DieHard Hat. We'll be keeping a flag station open for you until you return!
