I'd really like to see it. I dont know if the camera was on, but he's been filming most of them recently i think.

    Derek,
going in the dirt is not a victory. ;-(

you get awesome starts but carlos totally had to check up because of your
riding and rick reynolds almost stopped in turn 6 because of you, allowing me to pass.
I waited until I could pass you SAFELY in turn 2 after watching you "struggle" (nicest word) with turns 10, 11 and 14/15. I had to stand up as I passed because of your "twitchy" corner entry.

I have ridden with all these boys and girls for many many years and we all have been meaning to discus with you....

YOu are doing great, but now it is time to start riding with your brains not your wrist.
    Dude you are scaring people.
you need to realax and pull back a little.
road racing is about grace under presure, not machismo and crazy off track dirt spraying bravado.
sorry it had to be me to write this, ;-(
    best wishes,
KW (The a hole, dousche bag, what ever you like blah blah blah)

    Derek,
    sorry about that.
Now I will have to be extra fast and extra friendly on and off the track because of my rant.

last year in round 6 a guy tried to ram me in turn 9 under a yellow flag I had to cross the dirt to save it. he proceeded to try and ram Shawn in turn 11 then again on the run to the checkered flag. (he was DQed for passing under the yellow)
2 years ago 6th round Sue broke a water pipe and fried her engine black! I worked all night to repair her bike so she could make the race.
3 years ago my eye was injured which messed up everything.

looking back on previous 6th rounds this years 6th round didn't turn out to damn bad.Wink no body crashed out or got hurt or even had a mechanical.

I think we should all focus on round 7 at sears point.
Brian is always fast at sears, so is Erik
Snowdens and Denman will be back.
One of us has got to stay with Carlos as he is getting bored.Wink

The cool thing about F2 is that anyone on the grid could step up to the top of the box.
as I always say, "lightening strikes" Wink
    best wishes,
    KW

i dont know if that snuffs the issue kelly.

if you and other riders are really having problems with the way i ride, and actually feel unsafe around me i'd like to know.

otherwise i'm wondering what was up with the previous post because lots of it is seemingly uncalled for and trying to publicly embarrass me by insulting the riding ability of a yellow plate racer with 4 weekends under his belt really isn't that cool.

    see ya at sears

I don't think Kelly is publically trying to embarass a yellow plate rider. He's looking out for your safety as well as for others. It takes alot of work and $$ to keep these 250's running and we all want to see each other at the next round. Do you want to have to apologize to someone for taking them out and wrecking their shit?

Think about it for a moment. You are riding fast, but with several off track excursions. Which in my mind, I would ask myself how lucky I am for not biting it.

You are not predictable to ride around. Brian and I were coming up on you with half a lap to go. Going into 8 you rode way wide and almost into the dirt. As you and Brian exchanged postions, I sat back and was watching, thinking that you were going to take him out. I didn't even want to be part of it.

As we came onto the front strait, you rode out into the dirt this time and somehow managed to keep it up right and back onto the track. To sum it up, in the 1/2 lap that I rode right behind you, you almost came off twice. That's not good riding.

i ride thru turn 8 pretty quickly. i've never felt out of control there.
brian hit the brakes and went thru 8 much slower than i do.

i made a conscience decision to pass him on the outside and run it out to the extra track at the edge. IMO it was hardly a near get-off.

and on the last corner, yes i went off, brian is fast and i know it and i wanted to beat him so i pushed a bit harder than i had been. i was on the gas a tad earlier and it threw me out wide.

I see the epic tale of the victory was edited out of the second post of this thread.
I have some Ideas on how to edit this second to last awesome post what do you all think? Wink
I am no Hemingway but i think it reads and just plan flows better.Wink

    Post should read:
i ride thru turn 8 ,novice novice, pretty quickly. i've never novice novice felt out of novice control there.
Brian hit the brakes and went thru 8 much slower than i , novice novice, do.

i made a conscience novice novice, decision to pass him on the outside and run it out novice novice, to the extra ,novice novice, track at the edge. IMO novice novice, it was hardly a near, novice novice, get-off.

and on the, novice novice, last corner, yes i , novice novice, went off, Brian is fast, tremendously handsome and dashing, and i know it and i , novice novice, wanted to beat him so i pushed novice novice, a bit harder than i ,novice, had been. i was on the gas a tad earlier and it threw me, novice novice, out wide.

    you guys are brutal....

Please don't be so mean to me next year when I race F2 with all of you. I'll have to say I am a bit worried about screwing up and being crucified on the forum. I thought you 2T guys were a close knit bunch?
