Out of curiosity, do these MAINTAIN the temperature you set them at? As in, do they get to, say, 175F and then turn off... then when the tire cools down a little, turn back on and thus MAINTAIN the tire at 175.. or do they simply have three settings: "Off" "On at 140F" and "On at 170F"

Almost all non-digital tire warmers, including the most well known brands, use an internal thermostat which heats the tire to the set temperature and then temporaily turns off in order to not exceed the setting and burn the carcass.

Our units are Nomex III lined and with side skirts which means that when they reach their setting they hold in the heat well.

Digitally controlled tire warmers can monitor temperatures constantly and adjust in order to keep an even setting with little or no deviation however they are more expensive.
