And that first weekend of a new paint job is so nerve racking! man I just did mine, and now that the first weekend is over I won't feel so bad if it gets rashed. At least I can get some pics of it looking good.

Ah I'm not so worried about that. It's just paint and plastics.

When a race team is formed how many are on it and who's bike is used? Does the team share the risk of crash damage or what? Is that a lot of wear and tear on a bike? I'm really interested in doing this just not sure how to go about it and the logistics of whose bike to use. I could use mine but it was kinda expensive. Back to the crash damage question.

Teams can be from 2-6 people.
In our team, we decided that the bike owner should not have to pay for registration, tires or gas. That just seemed fair to us. We also all decided that if any of us crashed the bike, we would all split the costs of repair.
I'm sure other teams handled things differently, that's just what we did.

We kinda agreed on splitting crash damaged, but we all split reg and tires (all three of us). I guess the only plus as the bike owner was I got to keep the trophy. I should really rethink that one this year!

Each rider should have gotten their OWN trophy. I know I did in 2003. GP

That's true, Greg. All you had to do was ask and you would get extra trophies for the other members of your team.

If the minutes from the last couple of board meeting had been published, you'd know. It was one of the topics.

I can email you a pic of mine from the previous year if that would make you feel better.

you should email that one to my former teammates, I still feel fine.
I could email you a pic of mine though, since you seem interested in sharing. Heck, we could probably even start a whole nother board just for sharing our endurance pics!!

Is the registration process any different for the endurance race as compared to a regular race weekend. as soon as the race before is over?

if you're a novice, I believe you have to show proof you've finished at least 4 race weekends. Other than that, it shouldn't be any different (you'll select engine size rather than class).

Will racers completing 4 clubman races be allowed to enter an endurance race?
I'm sorry if this has already been addressed elsewhere. If it has, can someone please point me to the thread?
Thanks,
Steve
