surgery on his broken hip last night, but that is second hand info. he could of had surgery on something else besides his broken hip.

also incase anyone wants to know, the first helicopter ride victim is OK. just banged up real good. and he can actually tell you what day it is now. Laughing

Manu and Dave I wish you guys a speedy recovery

Unfortunately, I had a ringside view of Manu's get off. 'Shocked'

I was right behind him, going through T11, when his rear stepped out to the left and spit him off. It looked like he was landing hard on his shoulder, with the bike possibly coming toward him. That's all I could notice as I veered toward the inside of the esse's, missing him and his bike.

When I came around again, I could see he was still on the ground.
    That gotta hurt, buddy.

    Get well,
(I broke my left scapula just before T11 in '01 ... evil corner)

    Thanks guys!

Just got back today, posted on Barf the story and all. I'm still wondering how I could highside out of T11 as I'm usually not leaned over so hard in there as I try to take it straight for the esses... that just escapes me. I prolly made a mistake (too much gas, too early) but I would want to make sure.

Yeah, thank you to all of you that helped bring my stuff back to Santa Cruz. I am so thankful and greatful. You guys were just awsome. thanks again!

    time for meds I reckon.

dude, manu, I felt so bad when I found out you had wrecked. I must have pulled off the lap before you went down and didn't even realize you were the one down in 11 til lunch time... Hope you're recovering well man, and that'll teach you to try and get out and run away from me!

Take it easy on your wife, this racing stuff could be getting to her!

    Hey Joe.
You know, I was saying T11, but I highsided out of T12. Which is even weirder...
I remember the crash but not what caused it.
