    Ducati 749/999 bodywork

    tigre944 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 5:25 pm

Does anyone here run bodywork that allows you to run a sidestand, is afm-legal, and that they would recommend from a quality perspective?

    Thanks,
    Tigre

    Eddy,

Have you crashed that bodywork -- if so, how did it hold up?

Also, it's hard to tell from the main picture on your website -- can you have a sidestand on and use it while all the bodywork is on? It looks like with the sharkskinz, where the lower blocksoff that area.

the main page is just a photochopped stock bike actually.

I have crashed with them once and it just stratched up on the right side, the stuff is very flexible.

they are notched for the side stand and mount up without having to make any brackets. they also do not interfere with exhaust or clutch cover.

some of the photos on my site were actually sharkskinzs so don't be confused, I think the unpainted body work pics.

I'll send you some better pics when I get a couple extra minutes
