Here's a handy number that may help you. I'm finishing preparing my 03 SV with stock 41mm Showas and it has 116mm of fork travel just like the 80s- early 90s, vintage 41mm showas off of early F2s (a Dino bike I just finished working on), and (I think) Hawks, CB1s, etc. Nice to know when you're trying to drop the tubes in the triples.

Especially since the Suzuki manual states 5.2" IIR (about 130mm) which works out to about flush. Until I physically checked the travel I thought I had to live with stock height on the forks and that I wasnt using much of the travel.
